No sound when playback speed anything other than 1.00

Postby listuk » 08 Oct 2015 23:15

Hi,

I did a vlc/google search and could find no answer to this question.

I am finding more and more downloaded files which do not have sound when playback speed is anything other than 1.00. I can't figure out if this is coded related or something else.

Anyone have any advice?

For example the codec info for a file where there is no sound on different playback speeds:
Video: H264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
Audio: A52 Audio (aks AC3) (a52)

thanks

Disable S/PDIF pass-through. It is logically impossible to play S/PDIF at non-nominal rates.
