VideoLAN Bugs

When I play a file with Japanese characters in the filename, when the filename is displayed at the start of playing the file, boxes show instead of the filename. I even deleted all Roman characters including the extension to see if all Unicode characters would change anything, but no.

Some files trigger VideoLAN to rebuild font cache and it shows the dialog box for a long time, and I don't think I've ever seen it go away without restarting VideoLAN, but once I've restarted it, playing the file usually works.

Sometimes on starting to play a file, I get a dialog box that says VideoLAN has asked to quit in an unusual way, and then a box that says Direct3D appears and plays the file.

We are going to remove the font-cache and fix the unicode fallback for the next releases.
