Rotate Image from Webcam 180 Degrees?

Hi,
I'm trying to use my Microsoft LifeCam Cinema as a document camera. Is there an easy way to rotate the image from the webcam 180 degrees? I tried some transform/rotate settings under the Tools --> Effects and Filters menu, but they don't seem to have any effect. Maybe I just don't know how they are supposed to work.
I'm using VLC player 2.1.1 on Windows XP 32-bit.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Steven

That should work if you first tick the corresponding boxes.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. On the Video Effects tab, I clicked on "Transform" and then selected "Rotate by 180 degrees". Unfortunately, the video image doesn't change. It is still live, but not rotated. Are these the boxes you were referring to? Is there anything else I missed?
Thanks again for your help.

Hello,
The computer I am using has now been upgraded to Windows 7 32-bit. Unfortunately, I am still experiencing the same issue as described above. Any suggestions you can provide would be appreciated. Thank you.
