Only partial listing of podcasts being downloaded

I am using VLC 2.2.1, under Windows 10. I was trying to use the Podcast feature in VLC and found that when I import the url I only get a partial listing in some cases. For instance, I imported this URL: http://www.nightmare-magazine.com/itunes-rss/ and only the first 6 were imported into the playlist. I tried another podcast and it imported the entire listing correctly. However, I did not notice anything malformed in the file, and my other podcast managers are able to parse the file correctly. Just wondering if anyone has any idea why this is not working properly. I have not been able to find anyone else with this problem.
