Dear all,

I am using windows based VLC 2.1.5 . I am working in the dual monitor system project. I have the following video files 1_xxx.mp4, 2_xxx.mp4. I want to open mentioned two videos (1_xxx.mp4 & 2_xxx.mp4) when i open the single video (1_xxx.mp4) ?. How do i link two video files to get it open on a single click?

Note: Now I made the VLC settings such a way that it is opening in separate video window by disabling the single instance option.

What do you mean with "open"?

Both videos will be played at the same time?

Yes, Both the video should play at the same time if i click(open) only one file.

For this you need to open two instances of VLC, for example via a script file.

Can you give the example script file to open two instance of vlc on a single click?
