vlc - play --> pause ----> seek --> cant play anymore

i am trying to play this vod file :

http://IP/vod/mp4:sample.mp4/playlist.m3u8

The issue is as follow :

i start to play it on vlc the vlc started to play . after few seconds i pause the stream and trying to seek to other place in the movie after seek to few place i am trying to play again now the play button is not responding .

on other player like wowza test player and some other it seems to be ok .

do you know any bug related to vlc and wowza ?

The link you supplied won't work, it seems to refer to a local file on your computer.
When you seek in a movie file it can take a while for the player to 'catch up': it has to find a key frame and reconstruct the video stream from there.
