stop audio files from appearing on tab

Hey guys. I wanted to know if there was anyway I could stop the video and audio files I am playing on VLC player from appearing when I right click on the tab at the bottom. I have a set list of songs that I have saved there but now everytime I drag a audio file on to the player it adds it to the tab. Before this would only happen if you just double clicked on the audio file. any fixes
