VLC 2.2.0 Zoom, Scaling, Fit to window issues when starting in Fullscreen

Postby q4blue » 12 Mar 2015 04:07

When VLC 2.2.0 is started in Fullscreen mode and then toggled back to a window the Zoom, Scaling and fit to window functions don't work (are diabled?). When VLC 2.2.0 is started in a window (not fullscreen) the Zoom, Scaling and fit to window functions do work, even after toggling to fullscreen and after back to a window. This was not an issue with VLC 2.1.5. I tested this on three different computers running different Windows 7 64bit flavors (Home Premium, Pro & Ultimate).

Hello friend, I recommend reverting back to version vlc-2.1.5-win32.exe or at least that's the version I'm using. It's stable & secure. Version 2.2.0 32-bit is entirely too buggy with the issues you mentioned including breaking the VLC srpros plugin http://vlcsrposplugin.sourceforge.net/ It became too much to deal with after that. I like the new preferences layout though.
