Hovering mouse over Playlist window causes it to disappear to background, maximized media window comes to foreground.

Just updated to the latest version of VLC, 2.2.0 Weatherwax.

Having two separate windows open, the playlist (non-docked) and the media player (maximized, not fullscreen), with windows focused on the playlist, as soon as I hover (no clicking) the mouse over playlist window, it causes it to disappear to background, full screen immediately bringing the maximized media window to the foreground.

Prior to this update, this wasn't an issue. With the update, at first, I did the recommended install, saving preferences. After encountering the issue, I then uninstalled VLC, cleared all traces of it and did a fresh, clean install of VLC. Same problem. After scouring the Internet, I've been unable to find a solution, hence creating this post.

Is this something I'm overlooking, or is this an actual bug?

Just remembered, if the playlist is maximized, everything works as it should.

**update**
After playing with it a little longer, I've found that with the media window open, windowed to maximized, hovering the mouse over the window brings VLC's media window to the foreground, while keeping focus on the selected window.

I hate to do it.. Because I'll lose all of my tweaks/settings (that resolve other VLC issues) will be lost and I'll have to start from scratch, but I'm going to uninstall/reinstall (again) and check to see if this occurs with the default settings.
