Clear old playlist when loading a new one?

Is there any way to clear out an old playlist when I load a new one instead of having it appended after the first?

Currently I load a nin playlist and later load a linkin park playlist and it is on random. Now i am having random music from both instead of it clearing out the previous NIN playlist first so just random Linkin Park.

Rather annoying...
