Wanting to stream news video from webpage through VLC

All im wanting to do is stream video from this url through VLC, I've tried many methods and none worked. I even tried going to Media - Open network stream ( im on windows 7 )
It acts like it wants to load but it does nothing, then quits trying to load. Can someone help me out here. I just want to stream this video, I love watching the news..and I dont want to have to load this webpage everytime to watch the news.
