vlcrc and multiple versions of vlc

Hi, I have multiple versions of vlc (one installed and three unzipped) and i see only one vlcrc file. is all the configuration for all this different versions in this one file?
(versions: 0.86f ; 1.1.7 ; 1.1.11(installed) ; 2.1.5)

vlc.exe --config="P:ath\to\vlcrc"

Hi, how can i input a path to a vlcrc when i don't know this path. i know the default path for windows which end with appdata\vlc\vlcrc but it doesn't answer my question how all this versions find their different config files without inputing a path.

I'll answer my own question: they all use the same vlcrc file. so if you change a parameter in one version it replicate in all the others. unless of course you input a path for vlcrc.
