Is it possible for VLC to convert a WMV file (with both video and audio) to separate video (M2V) and audio (OGG) files, i.e. to convert and demux. I have managed to get just the OGG file by selecting ogg as the container, but can't find a way to demux the file to just give me an M2V file.

If this is not possible with VLC then any suggestions for an alternative freeware tool would be greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, I have looked over that How To but just cannot figure out how to do this. I'm sorry to have to ask to be spoon fed on this one but would you mind please explaining exactly how to do this.
