rtsp streaming of IP camera for a specified time

Postby maajob » 10 Nov 2014 23:38

Hi,

I am kinda new to advanced uses of VLC and I can't seem to sort this out.
I am trying to create a playlist for an exhibition, that contains multiple sourced videos: some are local videos (on the hard drive), some are rtsp videos of remote IP cameras.
The playlist has to loop, and the rtsp feeds have to play for a specific amount of time, then VLC should jump to the next video (either local or another rtsp, it doesn't matter).

Also, it would be nice to skip the authentication window for the rtsp feeds, when they reach the IP cameras.

The result I want to achieve, is that I get a continuous playlist with no authentication popup windows and a seamless jump from local to remote videos without visitors noticing it.

Is there anybody that can help me with this? Is it doable?
Thanks
