I have a recently bought WinTV-NOVA-HD-S2 PCI card installed in my PC (Windows Vista 32bit)

I can successfully receive and record DVB-S SD TV transmissions with VLC version 1.1.11 using scripts.

In order to receive and record DVB-S2 HD TV transmissions I must use the latest version of VLC Media Player which the VLC help says is DVB-S2 capable.

However, the scripts do not work. For example, I have found that if I define a frequency other that 0, an error message comes back.

The Question - How can I get VLC Media Player to successfully receive and record DVB-S2 HD TV transmissions ???

I would appreciate any advice.....

DVB-S2 is only supported on Linux so far. A volunteer would be needed to write the missing glue on Windows.
