vlc 2.1.5

i play a video
at the end of the video vlc quits
then
i must relaunch vlc according to play another video

it's strange because "play and exit" is not checked

is it a bug or what ?

This is probably a crash. Try to play an audio file, and if that fails too, then start VLC from the CLI.

There is a known bug in older libavcodec versions doing exactly that...

with opensuse 13.1 x86_64 we get from packman rpm source

libavcodec52 0.7.16-3.6
libavcodec55 2.2.4-4.3

what is the required version ?

i can ask to packman team to supply it

I do not have tracks kept of that. Last version works and that's all I care about.
