WHY?

... does everything have to be complicated.. no use of everyday word use.

All I want to do is "create a playlist", "save the Playlist" and then "Load a playlist". on the "Media" drop down menu it does say "Save playlist to file".. fine i done that.. so now i go to load playlist...

but hang on! there's no "load playlist" to be found.... why is that? why does it not say anywhere "Load a playlist".

Is there some esoteric reasoning for not being able to load a playlist then playing those tunes/songs listed in it. I also added files to that list you can make and saved them. can't find them, I select "play" from the playlist heading, and the box comes up.. empty!

I have noticed over the many years that software has entered the computing age, I was around when it was ticker tape... :) that software writers, they are not engineers by any stretch of the imagination, or program designers, get lost in what they are doing , and inevitably become lumberjacks wandering around the forest looking for wood that they cant find because of all the trees in the way.

So I appeal those those concerned, forget what YOU THINK is what is required, and do what USERS actually require, and use words what people use NOT what smart Alecs think are snazzy "with it" names.

To load a playlist, you just open the file (Ctrl+O), since a playlist is just a file.
