Quit VLC on stop: global-key-quit="Media Stop" not working.

I'm trying to get VLC to quit when the Stop button is clicked during video playback. I'm trying to integrate it with a media center application I have. Here is the string I'm using, can anyone offer any insights? When the stop button is clicked, VLC exists fullscreen but does not quit and return focus to the Media Center app:
