I do not know where to post to bug's development.
In the latest trial versions of VLC, since June 29, 2014, there would be a problem:
"Unable to start the program because it lacks libwinpthread-1.dll on your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem."

Windows 7 pro 64-bit.
