VLAN Speed Control

Postby tim8w » 29 Apr 2014 19:02

Hi,
I have two questions.

(1) Is there a way to set the Speed Control to a fixed speed, i.e. 2X, 3X, 4X, etc.
(2) How is the Speed control implemented, i.e. at 2X I start play at frame 1 skip frames 2,3,4, show frame 6. And is this process the same for everytime that the video is played at a given speed?

Thanks,
Tim

1) That's the whole point of the rate control widget and the --rate option.
2) The pipeline just runs x times faster.

Rémi,
(1) I don't see the option in the gui. Is it in the ini somewhere or do you need to launch the gui from a commandline with the setting?
