ATSC EPG Data

I am using a HDHomeRunDual Tuner for ATSC channels and have a stream playing through VLC. Does VLC extract the EPG data from the ts stream? I can't find a way to do it with VLC. I know the ATSC stream has the EPG data since MythTV is able to extract it.

Under Tools I see the Program Guide menu option but for the ATSC stream I am playing it says "No EPG Data Available". Does VLC come with libdvbpsi or does it need to be separately enabled? Is there a Current Features option in VLC where I can verify if libdvbpsi is enabled?
