Adjust mouse wheel volume increase increments

VLC used to jump to 15% volume or so if I remember right for each mouse wheel scroll up and this was recently changed to 5%. Is there a setting that will allow me to revert that? The best I have found is just the setting that lets mouse wheel action control volume as opposed to nothing/positioning.
