Displaying actual video time

Hi,

I've been trying to search the forums for an answer to this and surprised I can't find it, which is probably more of a reflection on me than these forums, anyway...

I've managed to get the Marquee activated to display video time (using $T) i.e. if I've watched 30 secs of video it will show 00:00:30 on the screen. But I need to show the actual time at which the video was recording, for example if the footage I'm watching started recording at 4:20 pm and if I watch 30 secs, it would show 16:20:30.

Does anyone know if this is possible? The actual start time information for video is typically available in that data file. Having this information appear in the 'marquee' mode is not essential, it would also be fine instead displayed in the timer down on the lower right hand side.

Thanks in advance.

James

It needs decoding of this info inside VLC, and this is not done yet.
