Can't get VLC to work over RTSP

Hi everyone,

I've bought an Amovision AM-Q630M IP camera, I can web browse to it fine on port 80 and can view the camera with its built in software.

The camera is set to RTSP 554 and the IP/username/password is still set to defaults:

192.168.1.128
admin
admin

I have spent hours trying various things and researching online but I still can't get it to work.

The official documentation says use these URLS:
rtsp://admin:admin@192.168.1.128:554/ch0_0.h264
rtsp://192.168.1.128:554/ch0_0.h264

Both I have tried on two different PC's, both with VLC installed with the RTSP plugin.

VLC shows this message:
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://192.168.1.128:554/ch0_0.h264'. Check the log for details.


If anyone can help in any way I would really appreciate it.

I've even tried all of the URLS that the iSpy page shows for Amovision cameras and it stil doesn't work.

Unable to attach the logs here as it says "Your message contains too many URLs. The maximum number of URLs allowed is 5.".
