Trying to find a media format VLC will NOT play

Postby L33tMasta » 06 Jan 2014 00:41

Since this is the only "general" VLC forum and technically I AM having an issue (VLC is playing literally EVERYTHING), I hope this is the right place for this post.

My buddy bet me $5 that I couldn't find something that VLC CANNOT play. Bluray was my go to, since it required additional files, but he decided that because I could get VLC to work and something about it not playing toast I put in my drive, that's out.

I need a video or audio format that VLC will NOT play. So far I've found promise in that the wiki says RealMedia sipr probably won't work (no surprise since RealMedia was awful), but would like to ask people for their suggestions.

Some Real --please stay polite-- are not played.
You could find .bik files that should not be played with the current versions (we are working on it).
And G2M2 codec in WMV files.
