Changing the "Closed Caption" background

Postby billynair » 04 Jan 2014 08:20

Is there a way to change the background of the Closed Captions? Normally they are a black, blocked out section behind the words. I can change the color of the font and the outline of the text as well, but I can not find an option to change the background. I would like them to look more like how subtitles are displayed, just the text, no background.

This is the exact opposite problem from this post by rhr

You can set that in preferences, too.
