Christian symbol in VLC player - how remove?

I was stunned to see that the VLC icon on the player interface changed to a Christmas symbol. The icon also shows up in the minimized tray. You may think it is cute to have the VLC icon wear a Santa Claus hat.

Enjoy your Christmas holidays, but please don't build religious imagery into a software application. It is more appropriate to place religious graphics and greetings on your website home page, if you so choose.

I want to remove this image. I cannot find the file. I have searched for .png, jpg, and .ico files in the folders.
What is this file called and what is its pathname? This is version 2.0.4 Two Flower. I hope it is not hard-coded. I am not a programmer.

Are there other Christian holiday graphics built into VLC that will pop-up as the calendar changes? For example, for your Easter or other saint days?

Much thanks. I stumbled across VLC while looking for an alternative to Microsoft's Media Player. I'm not a sophisticated user. Just wanted something simple with a small footprint for playing MP3s and an occasional video.

You're complaining about the red hat on the VLC cone? You know, the red hat like a Playboy centerfold might wear in a holiday photoshoot? Yeah, that's a real oppressive religious symbol.

I’d like to know if, between those who say “Santa isn’t Christian”, there is one, only one, who is not a Christian himself. Please, accept our non-Christian sensitivity with some empathy, thanks.

Every year, some Christian integrist complain to VLC support for using pagan symbolism. Father Xmas is not a Christian religious symbol, it is a western culture symbol.
