VLC is unable to open the MRL...[YouTube]

Today, I wanted to view a YouTube video on VLC Player. I pressed Ctrl+N, pasted the link, and was presented with
"Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuEazJNUnEo'. Check the log for details."

I looked this issue up on Google, saw some people with similar problems. I tried a few different solutions and none of them worked. When opening the log, it says:

Just a couple weeks ago, I was using VLC Player with no issues. Since the more recent updates, this and another issue have both popped up (although the previous issue has been resolved). Reverting back to the previous versions doesn't seem to solve the issue. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?

Your VLC build does not support TLS. Don't paste HTTPS URIs in it!

Weird, I tried removing the S in HTTPS and it didn't work before. :( Silly. Thanks!
