Audio Stream Problem
Posted: 16 Dec 2013 16:40
I just installed VLC 2.1.2. I only intend to use it for receiving audio streams in an old Dell laptop running XP Home+SP3.
One stream I tried to receive is..
http://surconsult.primcast.com:5756
..which is a Paraguayan radio station MP3 stream. I can always listen to this OK with Microsoft Media Player and other players but VLC will not play it and gives me the error messages below and eventually times-out to play the next item in the playlist.
access_http warning: ICY metaint=32768
access_http info: Raw-audio server found, mp3 demuxer selected
Then, after some time delay I see the message ..
access_http warning: ICY metaint=32768
..then another delay I see more messages ..
main error: cannot pre fill buffer
main warning: cannot create a stream_t from access
I do not understand the messages. Please help me to solve this problem. Maybe the source stream has a fault, but is there a work-around?
Thanks in advance
