Since updating to v 2.1.1 I get the following image at the beginning and end of any video I watch . See top left image.

Seems to have replaced traffic cone icon for some movie files , but not all !!
Tried removing prog and a clean install but still the same.

Any ideas ? I am new to the forum so apologies for incorrect posting.

Delete preferences and cache (%appdata%/vlc folder)
