Closed Captions Question

Postby JEFromCanada » 20 Oct 2013 14:31

I like the black background on the closed captions in VLC 2.1.0 since that is how it is on TV. Also, sometimes the closed captions on certain DVDs and TV shows change position if there are two people talking, like one person on the left and one on the right. With the old-style white VLC captions in previous versions, they were always in one position even if the captions moved on TV. This has been corrected in 2.1.0. Just to clarify, is the black background on the closed captions present in both the 32-bit and 64-bit version of 2.1.0?
