No automatic full screen - on dual monitor

Should be so easy but I can't get it.
Whenever I start a video, on a dual monitor (WinXp, but I guess it shouldn't matter?), it plays reg size on the main, and full screen on the other.
I don't want it to start full screen on the other.
How?
