VLC 2.1.0 always opens with the volume at 60% even though I have it set to 0% in my preferences.

A workaround that I found for now is to go to tools/preferences/audio and make sure "Always reset audio start level to" is unchecked, save, then close preferences. Next set the volume level in the player to where you want it to always open with. Then go back to tools/preferences/audio and re-check "Always reset audio start level to". When you close and start VLC it should always be at that level.

2.1.1 should fix it. Try it from nightly builds.
