I ran into a problem trying to share my Mom's memorial service video with family. Any help getting me through the problem much appreciated!

I will not be able to check back here frequently, but I will be back (hopefully, every day or so) to check for suggestions, and to answer questions you have for me.

I've tried to search for answers, and in the process found instructions for how to ask a question ... I hope I've at least understood those well enough to supply adequate information.

Here's the story:

Your operating system and the version.
Windows 7 Professional v6.1 (Build 7601:SP1)
(Puppy Linux LuPu 5.28, Windows Vista)
Your VLC media player version.
VLC media player 2.0.8 Twoflower
(VLC media player 2.0.6 Twoflower,
Don't remember the version used on Linux)
The hardware you use: Three different computers

The exact situation in which the problem occurred. Please describe in as much detail as
possible.
Transferred a series of .MOV files from a digital video camera to the computer.
(I no longer have access to the camera, presumably the original files are lost,
(unmodified copies are still at hand.)
All .MOV files play under VLC, except on the older machine running Linux
(presumably the processor is too slow)
In the interest of sharing, I attempted to transcode to 640 pixel .mp4 format.
All but the longest file successfully transcode- meaning the transcoded .mp4
files play correctly on a variety of computers, some after upload/download
through the cloud. The longest (CIMG0006) rendered video without audio.
(This was several months ago, I'm just now getting back to the issue.
(Tonight, attempting the transcode again with v2.0.8 I get a result with
(garbled audio instead of the no audio I originally experienced.)
Can you always reproduce the problem in a certain way? - Always the same
The type of movie you were playing. And whether or not the issue is present on other types of
movies. - Problem encountered only with the one file (CIMG0006.MOV)

If possible, the video sample in question:
If the issue is specific to a certain movie, it can help a lot if we have the movie itself.
In this case please upload as much of the file as you can to our samples server.
(streams . videolan . org / upload)

I am attempting an upload using Trac Ticket: cm.mp4_missing_audio

I uploaded a playback and convert log to pastebin:
http://pastebin.com/W75KgSub - .mp4 playback log Verbosity=2
http://pastebin.com/G4nugpeS - >MOV convert log verbosity=2

Convert Profile-
Encapsulation: MP4/MOV
Video Codec:

Audio Codec:

Thanks for any suggestions you can offer!

Your command line is underspecified.

Thanks for taking the time to review the logs!

I see I have research to do (I have no idea what acodec is) ... but a question as I investigate:

Are you implying that I might need to run from the command line instead of using the GUI?

Thanks again for the pointer!

Yes, it might be an option.
