Sound Issue (I think this goes here)

Postby GetSherlock22 » 28 May 2013 03:44

Right, so I'm using VLC media player 2.0.6 Twoflower and my sound doesn't work. I've tried everything that I can think of, but it still does not work. The video I'm trying to play works fine, but there's never sound. This is a rather new problem (with in the month), I have never experienced it before. I know it's not my computer's sound, because my sound works on everything else I do.

HELP WOULD BE MOST APPRECIATED!!

Thanks in advance!

Try to rename the executable to VLC2.exe.
If it works then for some reason VLC has been muted in the sound mixer settings.
