Problems with ffmpeg-threads and video quality

Postby kc7bfi » 09 May 2013 18:25

I am using vlc 2.0.6 to play h.264 video from a Pelco camera. When I set
the option --ffmpeg-threads above 4 the video quality degrades greatly
and I start to get the following errors:

main error: pictures leaked, trying to workaround
main error: pictures leaked, trying to workaround
main error: pictures leaked, trying to workaround

Any thought on what may be wrong? David

If this is RTSP, this can happen. Don't increase it too much.
