I got a question about the Open Network Stream.

I can't open youtube videos or website videos on the Open Network Stream anymore. What was the reason?

It didn't work. I went to Tools, and then click Messages. It reads "lua error: Couldn't extract youtube video URL, please check for updates to this script." What is that suppoed to mean?

Does it happen with any Youtube URL or just some specific ones ? Please give examples of non working URLs.

I can't reproduce the issue, this video is playing fine with VLC to me.
What is your OS ? What version of VLC are you using ? Make sure to use the latest one or even a nightly build.

Oh! I am sorry. I using the CPUs from the library. They must not allow their VLCs to play viral videos. In the future I would buy a cheap laptop or a IPAD.
