Audio Track Synchronization, Default Value

I'd just like to open this post with my sincere appreciation to all of the VLC Media Player contributors. It's an outstanding tool and the only one I've found that does everything I need.

I am working with Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filters for signal path artifact correction (e.g. digital room or speaker/headphone correction). The FIR filters are acausal and cause a delay in the audio. VLC Media Player can delay the video track, however, such that the audio and video is temporally aligned again. I greatly appreciate this feature!

What I'd like to know, however, is how to get VLC Media Player to remember the value I've entered for the Audio Track Synchronization. In other words, I'd like it to keep the value unless I enter another value. Unfortunately, VLC Media Player resets the Audio Track Synchronization value to zero with each new play, even if the play is a repeat of the last play.

Is there a way to define a permanent (i.e. default) value for Audio Track Synchronization or prevent VLC Media Player from resetting the value at the start of each play?

Thanks!

-Dale

Preferences -> Show All (Show Settings - All) -> Audio -> Audio desynchronization compensation

+/- milliseconds adjustment

I have a bunch of clips each with a different Track Synchronization Value. The procedure
Preferences -> Show All (Show Settings - All) -> Audio -> Audio desynchronization compensation
works for 1 setting and sets the whole bunch to this value. Is there a way to save each clip to its individual value?
