HOW can I play a video @ random for random time LOOP

Hard to express this in words, I am looking to load a playlist, or folder into VLC and have it play a file at random for a random amount of time at a random start point.

The random(s) should be set to a variable, for instance a playlist of X videos that are each over 1hr long should play something like this:

video 6 - loaded @ 34:10 and plays for 10 seconds

then loads->

video 3 - loaded @ 01:45 and plays for 15 seconds

then loads ->

video 2 - loaded @ 01:33:10 and plays for 30 seconds

etc.. forever.

the playback time would be awesome if it was a defined variable (ie. 5sec - 35sec) but i'd be fine playing all videos for a set time of say 10 seconds or even 1 minute, whatever! :P
the start time and video could be random forever.

has anyone heard of anyone being able to do this in VLC? i'd be willing to pay a coder to create such an app. VLC is awesome and it would be great to have this cross platform!

i just think this would be a cool use to load like 20 movies that everyone knows by heart and just start randomly playing clips from all of them randomly for a random amount of time. think 10 random seconds of jurassic park followed by 20 random seconds of diehard followed by 15 random seconds of rush hour. would make for a very fun evening.
