Multiple display multiple HD (5760x1080) sychronized playing

Hi, I am new here and I use vlc for many years now.

I am aware with the use of the VLC video wall solution.Very cool feature. But the soultion I know just divides the video in wall puzzles. So if I have a video wich is theoreticall in 5760 x 1080 I have a codec problem, because there is still no codec available which can hand such a high resolution. (H265 is still not easily available)

So my Idea was, how about:

I cut the video in 3 Full HD Videos each 1080p. The I start one vlc instance, vlc asks for the eg. left video part, after showing it where it is, another vlc asks for the middle video part and then vlc asks for the right video part. After the last video is loaded vlc starts 2 more instances and synchronizes between the player instances. Like a master and slave player. Does anybody know that this is possible what I am dreaming for ? Thank you for helping :-)

Chris

That won't work, it needs quite a bit of work.

Do you think there is another way to find a solution with vlc, what about a timecode synchronisation?

timecode sync only works with the same file being played.
