shuffle option + media library: does not work properly

Using the shuffle option when playing an album/song via the media library uses for the next song to play any song/ folder/ path added to the media library.
It does not stay within the same folder nor uses the same album whatsoever.
Extremely annoying. *me mad

Any way to solve?
The media library itself lacks any organization comfort and functionality other freeware player offers.
Very sad.
VLC only shines when it comes to supported codecs.
