Sound decreases steadily with skin2

This has me at my wits end... Everything runs with the default skin. However when I switch to a Skins2 Interface, two things happen.

1. The sound slider will not go above 50%.
2. About every second, the sound level decreases by 1%, you can see the volume slider slowly moving down, until it mutes it's self.

I've unreinstalled once, and I've tried putting all the settings back to default. Any body else even having this issue?

I've noticed this issue as well.

I've seen this happening ONLY when i play VCDs on my PC (Windows XP) when using Skins2.

i don't have any VCD to test, but if you can reproduce the problem with something else tell me, i'll try to fix that.

This problem seems to have been a one-off for me.

I will post here if it happens again.

What operating system?

I get some strange oddities on Win98 while using skins2.. -haven't encountered the volume decay issue though..

I think the operating system, or some other sub-system could be important here.

What version of DirectX if any?

I have fixed the problem in svn.
The next nightly build (http://www.videolan.org/~videolan/) will include the fix.
