Help. I have VLC 2.0.4. I've been using VLC for some time with a customized two-line interface in the windowed appearance.
Today, I made some changes to my custom interface buttons. When I went into the customizer, I noticed that there was a button having something to with teletext. I removed it by dragging and dropping it somewhere else. Then I noticed that the order of buttons on my top line had changed so I tried to rearrange them and kept getting an extra Record button where I wanted a Screen Capture button. It finally seemed OK, so I saved the interface with a new name.
Then when I went back to the player, I noticed that I had apparently changed the order of my main interface buttons, so I tried to go back into Customize Interface. VLC crashed and a popup window told me, "VLC media player 2.0.4 has stopped working: A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." When I clicked the Close button, another popup said, "VLC crash reporting: VLC media player just crashed. Do you want to send a bug report to the developers team?" When I clicked Yes, another popup said, "Report sending failed: There was an error while transferring to the FTP server. Thanks a lot for the help anyway." That happened several times, maybe four or five times in a row. Then I got a message that said, "Report sent correctly. Thanks a lot for the help."
Anyway, VLC crashes every time I right click and select Customize Interface. The player works, but one of the lines of my buttons is gone. Is this a known bug?
