Video playback stalls on moving window or resize

Postby geodishy » 23 Nov 2012 07:36

On VLC 2.04 (and other versions of 2.0), fullscreening, moving the window, or resizing the window causes several seconds of frozen video playback and dropped frames. Audio playback is fine. Logs below:

The problem exists for all codecs and containers as far as I can tell, and is just as bad on high definition video as it is for standard definition. My processor is a Q6600 and has no problems when playing the files with a different player.

What is your OS ?
Does it still happen with another video output module ?
