Hi there!
I'm somewhat new with advanced configuration with VLC, that's why my concern could be easily answered, (or not ) but I didn't find answers in the VLC forum yet.
For a live show, I have videos that will have to be played once (then in a play-and-pause mode) and others that will be looping forever. For example, one (or more) looping animation for most of the time and single-played animation for jingles.
I can do it by setting the playlist in "repeat one" mode and then by pausing the "play only once" jingles at their end, and launching the looping animation after, but it can cause some trouble, depending on the ability of the operator to pause the jingle at the right time (which is not as easy as it seems!).
That's why I wanted to know how to have "repeat one" and "play only once" mixed in a single playlist (I know this option is usually for a whole playlist).
Or if you have any idea of how to work around this topic, it would be amazing!
Thanks in advance,
Vincent
