VLC keeps choosing 5.1 sound

Postby Wirazu » 29 Oct 2012 17:33

Hiya
New VLC and a new issue. For some reason I only heard background sounds, after checking the options I found that VLC chose 5.1 sound, that explained it all. I have a 2.1 system so ofc this wouldn't work. So I chose stereo and the voices came back (woho!).

However, this is something I have to do over and over, isn't there a way for me to tell VLC that I always prefer the "stereo" option?

Help me if you can :) Thanks!
