Save Deinterlace filter option

Just an FYI and information post:
Problem: I couldn't get the deinterlace option to be enabled when I launched the application. I set the Preferences->Video->Filters->Deinterlace option to blend, and clicked save. However, when I restarted the app, the Video->Deinterlace option would be set to Disable, even though the Preferences was still set to Blend.
Solution: It looks like you need to take one additional step before the saved settings for the filters are used. Under the Preferences->Video->Filters menu, you need to enable the checkbox for the specific filter (in this case Deinterlacing Video Filter). If the checkbox is not enabled, then the sub-menu settings are ignored. If the UI designer reads this, you might want to consider automatically enabling the filter checkbox if any changes are made to the sub-menu.
This should be of particular interest to those using the ActiveX plugin, as the preferences will apply to the ActiveX window. I didn't see any way to change the deinterlace option directly while the ActiveX module is running.
