I tried searching the forums about this, but didn't find anything pertinent, which makes me think this isn't a common bug...
On several occasions I have had to manually advance a playlist, because VLC reaches the end of the song - and just keeps going. The progress bar just keeps ticking along over time while it outputs silence.
Not always the same songs, and a song that will be stretched one time will usually play perfectly the next.
It's an incredibly frustrating problem! It did dawn on me that this started to occur after I'd converted all my .flv format video to .mp4 so that it could be shared to a PS3 network, so is it possible that the conversion process is flawed?
No, wait, scratch that. It does it with .mp4 created natively via my FlashVideoDownloader plugin (v 14.0.4) as well. Bah, I thought I'd solved it already.
Has anyone else encountered this, or have any ideas as to how to resolve it?
