Streaming/Export not saving to separate files

In a previous version of VLC (I use Mac version) I was able to save M3U streams that contain multiple songs, to individual files using Streaming/Export.

For example, archive.org allows download of the M3U file. I open it in VLC and it loads the play list for all the tracks (i.e. 24 songs). Using Streaming/Export, I select the playlist items> 24 songs, and it would save to 24 individual files. Now, in the current version of VLC, they write to one file.

Is there a solution, or just revert to a previous version of VLC?
