Update fails to install.

Hi,
I am currently using Vlc media player 2.0.1Twoflower.
I have checked for updates and have been told that a newer update is available 2.0.2
I download the file & i see the progress bar go from 0 to 100%.
The downloading box the dissapears & then nothing.
When i click on the Vlc icon i then get a message to tell me Vlc has just crashed,do i want to send a bug report,yes or no ?
I submit a bug report & thats it.
I have now done the same thing about 3 times over the last week and each time is the same.

Please advise what i can do to solve this problem.

Reboot your computer and try again.
